INTRODUCTION
City Council is asked to re-appropriate funds and authorize the purchase of additional GPS units for City-owned street sweeping and snow plowing equipment.
DISCUSSION
Staff obtained the attached quote to purchase nine GPS units from PreCise Mobile Resource Management for a total cost of $2,565.00. The devices provide reliable asset management, combining a GPS receiver and cellular radio to efficiently capture and transfer location and utilization data of various assets. The system provides Internet-based reporting along with an advanced data export interface to integrate with existing asset management solutions.

The purchase is allocated in the draft 2019 budget, but staff would like to purchase the units for use throughout the 2018-2019 winter season.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends authorization of Resolution 18-117 Amending the 2018 Stormwater Fund for the purchase of GPS units for City-owned street sweeping and snow plowing equipment.
