PC 18-5 Consider Resolution 18-63 Approving Registered Land Survey to subdivide 7.47 acres into 8 tracts, PORT Riverwalk

The City is proposing a registered land survey to subdivide 7.47 acres into 8 tracts to clear up title discrepancies.
The City has been working with a developer on the redevelopment of a portion of PORT Riverwalk. As part of the due diligence process, title discrepancies have come up. To resolve these discrepancies the City is proposing four registered land surveys.
This is the fourth registered land survey and includes property between East River Road and Coon Rapids Boulevard. The proposed registered land survey subdivides 7.47 acres and creates 8 tracts. This eliminates the title discrepancies and makes the transfer of property easier. The property will be platted into its final configuration as part of the redevelopment project.
Planning Commission Meeting:
At the Planning Commission meeting held on April 19th, no one spoke at the public hearing. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the proposed registered land survey.
In Planning Case 18-5, the Council move to approve Resolution 18-63 approving the proposed registered land survey with the following condition:
All comments of the Anoka County Highway Department be addressed.
