INTRODUCTION
Council is asked to introduce an Ordinance authorizing the conveyance of property known as Outlot A, Minnesota Park Third Addtion to Sherry K. Lichtsinn of 10060 Butternut St. NW.
DISCUSSION
The property was originally platted as Lot 1, Block 2, Minnesota Park in 1950, and was acquired by the City in the 1980s for the reconstruction of 101st Avenue. With the reconstruction of 101st Avenue last year, it was determined that remnant property existed of sufficient size that a buildable lot could be created. On March 6, 2018, final plat approval was granted by Resolution 18-39 for MINNESOTA PARK THIRD ADDITION, creating a buildable lot on the corner of 101st Ave and Cottonwood St, and Outlot A.

City staff is proposing to sell Outlot A, an unbuildable lot, to the adjacent property owner to be combined with their parcel. Per Planning case 18-2, the adjacent homeowner has executed a purchase agreement prepared by the City for land legally described as Outlot A, MINNESOTA PARK THIRD ADDITION, Anoka County, Minnesota. The City's Charter requires all real property of the City to be disposed of by ordinance.  The ordinance authorizing the conveyance is attached for review.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends introducing an Ordinance authorizing conveyance of Outlot A, Minnesota Park Third Addition, to Sherry K. Lichtsinn.
