INTRODUCTION
The applicant is requesting preliminary plat approval for Riverdale Commons 6th Addition. The applicant is proposing to plat 13.3 acres into three lots. One lot is for the existing Home Depot and two lots for two proposed commercial buildings.

DISCUSSION
This plat is being submitted in conjunction with a site plan for two commercial buildings. Lot 1 is 11.1 acres and includes the existing Home Depot store. Lot 2 is 1.25 acres and Lot 3  is .93 acres; these two lots are being created for the two commercial buildings. The lots comply with the dimensional and area requirements of the General Commercial district.
RECOMMENDATION
In Planning Case 17-15, staff recommends the public hearing be opened and continued to the August 17th meeting, and action on this item be postponed to the same date.
