The applicant is requesting Planning Commission approval of a conditional use permit for their business, which is classified for zoning purposes as limited production and processing. At the December 19th meeting the Commission postponed action on this item. The postponement was intended to allowed the applicant time to design an alternative to accessing the loading bay.

At the December Commission meeting, discussion focused on access to the loading bay at the rear of the building. The applicant was proposing to access the bay from 119th Avenue and have semis back into the site. Section 11-1203.2 City Code prohibits such manuevering. The applicant is drafting proposed changes to the site plan necessary to accommodate on-site access to the loading area. The modifications include reconfiguring the area between the two driveways. Semis would enter via the eastern driveway, pull through, then back into the loading bay and exit from the western driveway.

The applicant will have formal plans for review at the February meeting.
In Planning Case 19-25, the Commission postpone action on this item and continue the public hearing to the February 20 meeting
