City Council Regular
Consider Resolution 19-119 Establishing 2020 Fees and Charges for Use of City Park Facilities
Kevin Knopik, Assistant Accounting Manager
Staff recommends that council consider adoption of the 2020 fees and charges for use of City park facilities.
Changes for the 2020 fees and charges for use of the City park facilities are as follows:
Riverwind meeting rooms 1 or 2: Half day rental rates increased from $60 to $75 for residents and $75 to $100 for non-residents. Full day rental rates increased from $100 to $125 for residents and $125 to $175 for non-residents. This fee better reflects the cost of maintenance for the rental.
Crooked Lake Park: The daily rate fees of over 50 people were removed as each shelter can only accommodate up to 50 people.
Lions Coon Creek Park: Daily rental rates for up to 50 people is $75 for residents and $100 for non-residents. There were no fees charges in 2019 as the park was under construction. The fees listed above and in the resolution are the fees that were charged in 2018.
Picnic shelters at Woodview, Riverview, and Moor no longer have a rental fee. There are minimal bookings for these picnic shelters and without electricity, it was determined these picnic shelters would be on a first come first serve basis.
Staff recommends adoption of Resolution 19-119 Establishing Certain Fees and Charges for Use of City Park Facilities effective January 1, 2020.
