Kim Reid, Administrative Legal Assistant
On October 1, 2019, Council adopted Resolution 19-96 to consider the vacation of a utility easement located at 3200 Main Street, Coon Rapids, MN 55448.
On June 20, 2019, Red Mill Properties, LLC received site plan approval from the Planning Commission for the construction of a 6,100 square foot multi-tenant commercial building proposed on the northeast corner of the Wells Fargo building site located at 3200 Main Street. This project requires the relocation of an existing watermain pipe currently located within a 20-foot wide drainage and utility easement. The existing drainage and utility easement needs to be vacated, and a new 20-foot wide drainage and utility easement conveyed over the realigned watermain pipe. On October 1, 2019 Council adopted Resolution 19-96 to consider vacation of the utility easement. All utilities have been notified and there are no objections. The process for vacating an easement under the City's charter requires a public hearing and passage of a resolution.
Council is asked to conduct a public hearing and adopt Resolution 19-121 vacating a utility easement for property located at 3200 Main Street, Coon Rapids, MN 55448.
