Hold Public Hearing and Consider Resolution 19-122 Vacation of a Utility and Water Main Easement (RMS Company)

On October 1, 2019, Council adopted Resolution 19-97 to consider the vacation of a utility and water main easement located at 8600 Evergreen Boulevard, Coon Rapids, MN 55433.
RMS Company has submitted plans to the City that include expansion of their existing facility located at 8600 Evergreen Boulevard. This building expansion project requires the relocation of an existing watermain pipe currently located within a 20-foot wide drainage and utility easement. The existing drainage and utility easement needs to be vacated, and a new 20-foot wide drainage and utility easement conveyed over the realigned watermain pipe. On October 1, 2019 Council adopted Resolution 19-97 to consider vacation of the utility and water main easement. All utilities have been notified and there are no objections. The process for vacating an easement under the City's charter requires a public hearing and passage of a resolution.
Council is asked to conduct a public hearing and adopt Resolution 19-122 vacating a utility and water main easement for property located at 8600 Evergreen Boulevard, Coon Rapids, MN 55433.
