INTRODUCTION
The City Engineer recomends final payment to North Valley Inc. for Project 18-6, 2018 Miscellaneous Park and Trail Improvements.
DISCUSSION
A summary of Project 18-6 is as follows:
Substantial completion date 9/21/18
Contract completion date 9/21/18
Actual completion date 9/27/19
 
Contract amount (awarded 5/1/18) $104,387.32
Total additions/deletions 2,213.51
Final contract amount 106,600.83
Actual project costs 116,803.65
Less:  previous payments by City (89,884.90)
Amount due 26,918.75
Amount over final contract $10,202.82

The change order was for removing and replacing a culvert that was not included in original bid.  The actual projects costs were more than the final contract amount due to quantity adjustments from the original bid.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of change orders and final payment to North Valley Inc. in the amount of $26,918.75 for Project 18-6, Miscellaneous Park and Trail improvements.
